In the summer of 2004 God assembled a group of families in Proberta, California, dedicated to planting a Christ centered church, north, in the town of Cottonwood. During the next three and a half years, God was preparing the hearts of these families while the leadership was completing their studies at The Cornerstone Seminary. As God directed through much prayer and counsel, Grace Community Bible Church was planted on December 30, 2007. The Proberta church was replanted, and continues to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to our Spanish speaking brothers and sisters.

Christ is continuing to build His Church (Matthew 16: 18) in Cottonwood at Grace Community Bible Church, by growing the original core into a much larger body of Christ that desires to be true worshipers of God through the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our purpose and goal has never changed. It has always remained to proclaim Christ through preaching, training, and shepherding His people. This is preserved by holding to the absolute glory and beauty of Jesus Christ. This glory is understood through the preaching and teaching of the all sufficient Word of God (The Bible).

Christ alone is enough for forgiveness of sins and for life and godliness.
